"Ladies, as we begin a new year, we pause to reflect on the power and possibility of shifting towards personal growth and letting go of aspects of ourselves that no longer serve.
Resolutions, what we call goals the rest of the year, can however generate internal conflict and imbalance. We want to strive for something better, yet at the same time it is vital to our mental health to be content, and to enjoy and harvest what we have already created.
So many of us are struck with a whirlwind of emotions – a wave of fear for the uncertainty that lies before us; a sense of relief that the Covid pandemic has subsided; sorrow over losses we have suffered; hope for the future in our personal lives; and many more. Well, I can assure you, we are all in it together. I am not immune to these mixed feelings, as there are mysteries of life I also struggle to understand".
We Npower was honoured to be the guest speakers at BMHS Swansea ladies night event on the 28th of January 2023. We targeted talking about real issues that have an impact on women of colour - issues that stop them from developing and from being the best version of themselves. The in-person coaching session was a great success and the event was attended by over 20 black ladies.
What we do
As coaches at We Npower, we are a vital source of stabilizing connection. We listen. We understand and empathize with the discomfort. We engage in deep conversations. We provide safe spaces that enable our clients to share their frustrations, their challenges, and their joys. We help them see the opportunities in the chaos. Ultimately, we help them shift and strategize so that they can grow into masters of their destiny.
